Documentary Photography is a popular form of photography used to chronicle events or environments both significant and relevant to history and historical events as well as everyday life, following a single topic or story in-depth over time. It can capture and sustain public attention and mobilize people around.
Why is it so Important?
It is used as a method of recoding history, sharing emotional truth, and inspiring change. Images have the power to highlight stories that aren’t gaining the attention they need and to amplify a wide variety of views and opinions.
Our Photos
We were given a range of themes to base our shoot on, and Renee, Katie and I decided to focus on 'Hopes and Dreams'. We knew what we wanted to do straight away. With us both being talented, we decided to choose Music. (Bass - Renee, Guitar and Microphone - Me.)
